With Easter just a few days away, there isn’t much time left to stuff those Easter baskets full of goodies. But instead of filling your child’s Easter basket with chocolate bunnies and candies this year, take a look at some of these non-candy Easter basket ideas that are sure to bring a smile to your child’s face.
Easter baskets over the years have changed drastically from what I remember when I was a child. I looked forward to Easter because I knew my basket would be filled with lots of yummy, sugary candy. These days, my children consider themselves lucky when they receive any candy, so I thought I’d throw together a list of non-candy Easter basket ideas.

We’re past the stage of Easter baskets around here, but we generally kept it to candy when our daughter was younger. Sometimes we’d put in a Veggie Tales DVD if there happened to be a new one out at that time of the year.

This is a great list of suggestions. Do your kids love the BeyBlade toys too? Our kids don’t get a lot at Easter time, but we do make sure to have a good family day together with a nice feast.

Usually candy and fun little toys. This year they each got a book, shirt and a few bigger candies and that’s all. Added two more kids to the holidays this year so had to stretch the budget.
