I know, I know. I’m all about the peppermint lately! But with good reason. I mean, it’s festive, right? And because I just couldn’t get enough of the Peppermint Bark Pretzels, I decided to go big…or go home! So, I went big with these Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods! Very similar to the Peppermint Bark Pretzels I shared the other day, only these are bigger (and more colorful)!
I know you came here for the Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods recipe, so lets just get to it, why don’t we!
Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods
Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods
Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods! A perfect, festive treat for the holiday season. Give as a gift, serve at your next party. I don't care what you do with them, as long as someone enjoys them 🙂
Ingredients
- 10 peppermints, crushed (I used Atkinson's Mint Twists
- 1 pkg (12 oz.) Wilton Candy Melts
- 1 cup Wilton Candy Melts
- 12-16 pretzel rods, depending on how heavy you coat them
Optional
- plastic baggies
- wax paper
Instructions
Notes
You can also purchase Crushed Peppermint Candy to save yourself a step.
These Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods can get pretty messy, so that wax paper totally comes in handy. Once you’re done, simply throw away the wax paper and voila, cleanup is done!
If you are not absolutely enamored with peppermint like I am, you can always use less. I just really like peppermint, y’all. But feel free to tailor it to your taste buds!
Want to get the kids in the kitchen with you? These Peppermint Bark Pretzel Rods are perfect for that. My 7-year old son loved helping me with these. His favorite part was drizzling the white over the top!
My favorite part was eating them, y’all! Gah, and do you know how many burpees I had to do at the gym to work those bad boys off?!? But it was so worth it!
Do you have a favorite holiday treat?
