If you love Churros, you’ll love this Churro Honeycomb Snack Mix!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Post Consumer Brands. All opinions are entirely my own.
When my kids were little it felt like the sleepless nights would never end. Now that they’re a little bit older I realize just how short these years truly are. The days may feel extremely long, but y’all, they’re so short. I’m regretting each and every time I said, during my exhausted daze, “I can’t wait until they’re older.”
Now that they are older, I realize that the years I have left with them under my roof are few. So I’m doing everything I can to make these years the best they can possibly be.
We are a homeschooling family so I’m with my children all day, everyday. Which by the way, I love. We go to the park, we have game nights, we exercise together, we cook together, etc. We spend as much time together as we possibly can. We genuinely just enjoy each other’s company and for us, it totally works.
Since my kids are really into video games, game nights are pretty popular around here. We all know a game night isn’t complete without snacks (am I right?) and this Churro Honeycomb® Snack Mix is absolutely perfect for your family’s game night.
Best part – it’s really easy to make. Get the kids in the kitchen with you and whip up a batch of this Churro Honeycomb Snack Mix. Honeycomb is made with honey and the big pieces are as perfect for snacking as they are in your cereal bowl. Sample the big honey taste and pick up a specially marked package of Honeycombs for a chance to win some great prizes – see below!

Have you made this snack by substituting agave or honey for the corn syrup? Or any other substitution? Any recommendations?
Crystal says
Hello Stephanie! I have not tried either agave or honey. If you happen to try it, could you let me know how it turns out?

I was wondering if the honeycombs get soggy? I looking to make them a day or two before a party but I don’t want them to get soggy!
Crystal says
You should be fine making them 24-48 hours in advance.
Kim says
I made this before for my daughters shower. Did you recently update the amount of some of the ingredients? If so could you tell me what changes were made.
Crystal says
I have not made any changes to the original recipe.
Leslie says
Hello! I’m making this for my daughter’s bumblebee-themed birthday party to give out as favors! How long do you think this will stay fresh if kept in big, airtight storage containers? I’d love to make this a week in advance of the party!
Crystal says
I don’t think you should make it that far in advance. I’ve never let it sit that long so I don’t know how long it keeps before tasting off/stale.
Lori says
Just made this for a road trip to the mountains. So delicious. Definitely going into my Christmas snack board. Thank you!
B says
If not eating right away, how long would you say they last (while still tasting good)?!
Crystal says
I’m not sure on that, B. We always devour pretty quickly after making a batch.
Tanya says
I added some honey roasted peanuts, roughly chopped. My dad loves peanuts and it added some texture. Great treat!
Crystal says
That sounds like a great addition.
Suzanne says
This looks so good! What great combination of flavors!
