We’re definitely not living the life our grandparents did. Technology has drastically changed the way that we live. To keep balance in our lives, there are tools you can use to help you learn how to improve your digital wellbeing.
A Digital Life
It’s undeniable that technology plays an integral role in our day to day lives. Whether we’re searching for something on Google or catching up with our friends and family on a social network, our lives are connected to technology for the better part of the day.
Google understands that technology can take us away from the people and things that mean the most to us, whether it happens intentionally or not. Technology has a way of drawing us in and keeping us disengaged from the things and people around us.
To help us manage our digital wellbeing, Google has developed a series of tools that help us keep our well being in check and our life in balance. You can learn more about it on wellbeing.google.
What is digital wellbeing? Digital wellbeing is still a new concept for many people. It’s a fairly new term used by health professionals, researchers and device manufacturers to describe how a person interacts with technology.
While technology is incredibly helpful and an integral part of daily life, it can cause devastating disconnect and an unhealthy balance in your life.
Learning how to improve your digital wellbeing is an essential part of using technology in a healthy way.
Google wants to encourage people to evaluate how technology fits into their lives and identify areas where they’d like to have a little more balance. Technology should play a helpful role in our lives and our family’s lives, but as I’m sure you know, this isn’t always the case.

Set appropriate screen times. One of the biggest struggles for parents is managing screen time with their kids. Google believes that technology should play a helpful role in our lives and our family’s lives and recognizes that this isn’t always the case.
