This is a partnered post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I just wanted to let you know about this free app to manage screen time.
Last year I had the opportunity to introduce you to a free parental control app. Over the last 12 months the folks at OurPact have been working tirelessly to make the app even better. In the past year they’ve reached more than 500,000 downloads and have taken feedback from parents just like you and me to create an even better product to manage screen time.
Free App to Manage Screen Time
Let me introduce you to OurPact 2.0! This version includes a redesign of the iOS Parent Application as well as the release of the Web App which can be accessed via OurPact.com. This means that parents on any Web, iOS, or Android device now has access to the OurPact platform.
What is OurPact?
OurPact is a parental control application that gives parents the ability to block internet access and apps at-a-touch or through daily time schedules created within the app. In short, it’s a free app to manage screen time!
What makes OurPact Unique?
OurPact is easy to setup and easy to use. It’s available for all iOS devices, but with the new release, it’s now available for Android users using the web interface. You can use it to block both iOS AND Android devices! It’s also the only parental control solution of its kind that is effective, reliable, and FREE!
How do you setup OurPact?
Parents either download the iOS app from the App Store or sign up at OurPact.com. From there parents will need to pair the child’s device to their OurPact family dashboard. Pairing only takes about a minute or so. After you’ve paired the devices, you will see the child’s device in your dashboard. From there parents can block access, grant access, and create a schedule.
How to Use OurPact?
For iOS devices: Download OurPact for iPhone, iPad or iPod for free from the App Store.
For Web/Desktop devices: Create an account or sign in to the Web App via OurPact.com.
For Android devices: Create an account or sign in to the Web App via OurPact.com in your Android browser.
How to block on iOS devices: In the Safari browser on your child’s iOS device, type in pair.OurPact.com. Follow the prompts and instal the MDM profile. This profile will run in the background unnoticed and will allow full device management.
How to block on Android devices: In the browser on your child’s Android device, type in pair.OurPact.com and download OurPact Jr. for Android from the Google Play Store. Go through the set up process.
How do you know OurPact is working?
If access to a device is blocked, apps are removed from view on the device. They are still technically there, but they are hidden from view and cannot be accessed.
How Much is OurPact?
Well, for you, it’s free. Enjoy this free app to manage screen time effectively!
One of the biggest complaints my daughter had with the first version was that every time access was blocked, the apps disappeared and when access was granted again, the apps did not go back into their original folders. That has been fixed and the apps now go back into the folders once access is granted again. It’s a seamless transition between blocked and granted access.
I know not all parents need OurPact, but we all know someone who does. OurPact allows parents the opportunity to manage their child’s screen time in an easy, almost hands-off kind of way, especially if using the schedule feature.
If you’re still unsure how OurPact works, watch this short video that explains how it works and how it can be an effective app to manage screen time.

I’ll have to check into this app – I haven’t heard of it before! I could see how it would be useful and I love that it’s free so more people will use it! In the summer my kids are outdoors most of the time but with the extreme cold winters they definitely spend too much time on their tablets!! This will come in handy.

I wish I could actually hug you in appreciation for sharing information about this app. Now that summer is here, we need something more than an oven timer to keep digital time in check.
