I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I just couldn’t help it with these Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats. You know my love for all things Christmas and Rice Krispies, so I couldn’t resist whipping up a batch of these Christmas Rice Krispies Treats!
Oh my goodness, y’all – they’re so cute and festive.
Christmas Rice Krispies Treats
Much like traditional Rice Krispies Treats, these Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats are so easy to make and they taste just as good as they look.
And despite how cute they look, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprise by how easy these are to make. In fact, if you’ve made regular Rice Krispies Treats in the past, these aren’t much more difficult. You’ll just need to use your handy knife skills to cut the tray into triangles for the tree shape.
Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats
When making these Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats, the tree color will depend on how much food coloring you put into the marshmallow mixture. For a lighter green use less food coloring and for a darker green use more. The quality of your food coloring matters too. Make sure you’re using a quality product.
You can use a lot of sprinkles like I did, or you can use none at all. It’s totally up to you! If you want to go the sprinkles route, there are some adorable sprinkle options on Amazon. I linked a few below.

Christmas Rice Krispies Treats Serving Options
These little Christmas treats are perfect for class parties (if your child’s school still allows homemade treats), work parties, family gatherings, etc. You can serve them with the stick or without, but personally, I love the look of them on the stick. If you want to get a little fancier, wrap them in a cellophane bag and tie with a festive ribbon.
Obviously I wasn’t in the mood for fancy! I like them just the way they are.
But enough rambling from me — here’s how you make these Christmas Rice Krispies Treats!
