The other day I shared a recipe for Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies with Peppermint that was just perfect for the holidays.  Now I’m sharing just plain ‘ole Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, well, because they were just THAT good.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing more recipes from me in 2012 because my new KitchenAid Stand Mixer is quickly becoming my new BFF.  I think I’ve made more cookies in the last few weeks than I’ve made in my entire life.

No kidding.

My husband looks forward to my soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies that I’ll share soon.

Without further ado, here is the super delicious Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 5 dozen

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Combine together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies set. Cool slightly and then remove from cookie sheet and transfer to wire rack.

    If you love chocolate just as much as I do, you will absolutely love these cookies!  My mouth is watering just looking at the pictures, remembering how yummy they were.
