It’s almost turkey season y’all. Gather up your little turkeys and make these Pinecone Turkeys for Thanksgiving. They’re great for display or even as placecard holders for the Thanksgiving table.
Even though my kids are a little bit older now, they still like making crafts with mom. Or at least they act like it anyway. As long as they act like they enjoy it, I’m going to keep at it.
This is a very low cost Thanksgiving craft, especially if you scavenge for the pinecones. We visited our local neighborhood park and picked up a few. Looking for pinecones is a great excuse for going on a nature walk with the kids.

Because the cost is so cheap, we end up making these every year. It’s so much fun to see how the children’s crafting style changes over the course of a year.
