I have always been a firm believer in my children not wearing shoes early on. In fact, Peyton hasn’t wore a pair of hard-soled shoes at all. He just recently started wearing soft soled shoes and he loves them and so do I.

My first impression of these shoes were that they were very well made and the leather was extremely soft. The construction of these shoes are top notch right down to the tiny details.

ShooShoos soft sole baby shoes are made with a medium weight leather which is somewhat thicker than most of the other soft soled shoes we have tried. This makes the elastic cuff around the ankle very soft and comfortable to wear. Some of the other brands would leave indentions on his ankles which looked very uncomfortable.

I also love how easy they slip on and how hard it is for the young ones to remove. With a wiggly baby putting on shoes can be difficult, but the elastic cuff around the ankle makes it very simple. Peyton was constantly removing his socks but when he tries to take of his ShooShoos, so far he has been unsuccessful.

Another very important safety feature is the non-slip soles. We have hardwood and ceramic flooring through out the house, so a non-slip sole is very important to me.

Caring for your ShooShoos is pretty easy. Carefully hand wash and reshape and allow to dry out of direct sunlight. The leather will be a bit stiff after drying but will soften up with wear.
