Back to School Shopping at T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s plus Giveaway (Closed)

With Back to School just around the corner, I’ve been dreading doing the annual clothes shopping spree with my little first grader. She is very style conscience and really loves fashion. When I was asked if I would like to check out T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s, I jumped at the chance. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was excited nonetheless.

We finally made our way to both T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s this weekend and we were very happy with what we were able to find with our $25.00 gift cards to both of these stores.

Our first stop was Marshall’s.  We had planned on buying shoes, but the selection of little girls shoes was very picked over so we settled on clothing. Taylor was able to find a 2-piece outfit set for $14.99 and a nice shirt for $9.99.

I liked how Marshall’s had the clothing clearly marked by sizes.  It made it very easy to find Taylor’s size and let her look through and find what she liked.  I also like that it was seperated by shirts, jeans, etc.

Our next stop was T.J. Maxx.  Since we couldn’t find shoes at Marshall’s, we wanted to see if we could find any at T.J. Maxx but much to my surprise, T.J. Maxx had no shoes in childrens sizes.  Taylor was a bit disappointed, but she quickly got over it and we headed to the little girls section.

Taylor was able to find 2 packs of undergarments for $3.99 each and 1 pack for $2.99.  She was also able to find a cute little 3-piece set for $12.99.  I was really impressed with the price of the 3-piece set because it included a shirt, leggings and a little purse and it is so adorable!

I don’t have a picture of the outfit from T.J. Maxx because she begged to wear it to church on Sunday and I let her. I was going to post pictures of her undergarments that she got, but she didn’t like that idea too much.

I like that T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s both have a pretty efficient system at getting customers through the checkout line pretty quickly.  Although the stores were packed and the lines at checkout were extra long, you didn’t have to wait too long to get through the lines.  There were plenty of cashiers that were ready to assist.

We had a great time shopping and looking to find some of the best deals. Thank you so much to T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s for this fabulous opportunity!
