Valentine’s Day is definitely not the day to start a diet. I mean, with all these wonderful Valentine’s Day snack ideas, it’s impossible to totally avoid sweets completely. So I decided to make it a just a tad bit sweeter with these Valentine’s Twinkies on a Stick!
Super fun, right?
I just love the way these turned out.
Plus, it’s just another easy recipe for moms like us that don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen!
So, lets get to it.
Valentine’s Twinkies on a Stick
Valentine's Twinkies on a Stick
Take that box of Twinkies and turn them into Valentine's Twinkies on a Stick! So festive and perfect for Valentine's Day!
Ingredients
- 1 box (10 ct) Twinkies
- 1 cup Wilton Candy Melts, white
- 1 cup Wilton Candy Melts, pink
- 1 cup Wilton Candy Melts, red
- 10 lollipop sticks
Optional
- disposable piping bag -or- plastic sandwich baggies
- treat bags
Instructions
Bam! And there you have it — Valetine’s Twinkies on a Stick!
If your children like to get in the kitchen and help, this is the perfect opportunity for them, especially if you don’t care about perfectly drizzled candy melt. Give them each a Twinkie of their own and let them go to town with the candy melt.
And if they happen to drizzle a bit too much, you should still have some left in the bag since the recipe only called for a cup! See how I did that? Always thinking ahead {wink}!
The hard part comes in making sure they don’t eat them all in one setting. But if you have a bunch of kids living on your street, you just pass them out as after school treats, as long as their parents don’t mind. Then all the kids in the neighborhood love you because you always pass out such yummy treats!
