New Limited Time Menu Items from SONIC + Giveaway (Closed)

I’ll be the first to admit that when I don’t feel like cooking or I simply don’t have the time, I take the easy way out and either place an order for delivery or visit the nearest, quickest place I can get food on the table.

With the third trimester in full swing and kicking my butt most days, those days that I don’t feel like cooking are more often than I care to admit. And then there are the days when my sciatic nerve keeps me from doing anything except for sitting on the couch or laying in bed. Those days I’m so thankful for the places that offer fast dining options.

With the craziness of the holiday season in full force, SONIC has some new limited time menu options ranging from holiday-inspired desserts to main courses. This past week we were without a stove or oven while we were waiting on it to be repaired and these menu options came in handy. We tried a couple of the Premium Chicken Sandwiches and the Cheesecake Bites. My husband ordered the Asiago Caesar Chicken Sandwich and I ordered the Classic Chicken Sandwich. Neither of us eat our sandwiches or burgers with veggies on them, so although we didn’t get them as pictured above, we liked them.

We both liked the crispy all white meat chicken breast combined with the warm ciabatta bun. While I’m sure that getting it with all the fixings makes a completely different taste, we liked it plain.

The Cheesecake Bites served with strawberry dipping sauce are bite-sized, creamy cheesecake rolled in crunchy golden graham cracker crust. This makes a perfect dessert for sharing and is also good for on-the-go snacking! I think it’s safe to say we all really liked these.

Also available for a limited time is the Chocolate Mint Holiday Shake. This concoction of real ice cream with chocolate, mints and whipped topping sounds scrumptious, although we haven’t had a chance to try this one yet.
