National Geographic Kids 2010 Almanac Review and Giveaway (Closed)

My oldest daughter is 6 and is learning to read very well. She has a love for reading that I hope she will always have. She brings books home from the school library and reads them to her little brothers and they enjoy listening to sissy read.

We recently received a complimentary copy of National Geographic Kids 2010 Almanac and I love all the bright colors.  It is full of bright, crisp photography of animals, the ocean and it’s inhabitants and various places around the world.

As a parent I appreciate that it is hardcover book.  With three children, paperback books don’t last to long around here.  I also appreciate all the educational material that is packed into the Almanac.  It has over 350 pages covering topics from Amazing Animals to Going Green.

Although the Almanac is geared toward ages 8-12, younger children can still enjoy it by looking at all the amazing photography.  I enjoyed reading the section on Going Green, especially how to make an herb garden and 9 tips to save the Earth.
