Energizer has just launched a video campaign asking families across the country to post a video of their child explaining the mischief they can get into when the toys that keep them occupied run out of battery power. The first 250 to enter will receive a brand NEW Energizer Smart Charger. Ten video finalists will be chosen and then they will pick a charity of their choice to have a portion of $10,000 that Energizer will be donating to the charities. The more views the finalist’s video gets, the bigger the percentage of the donation the finalist’s charity will receive. The process is very simple and you get a free charger just for entering!
Just follow these easy steps to enter:
- Film a video – 60 seconds or less – of your child explaining what happens when their toy runs out of battery power.
- Include why the Smart Charger is a good way to keep batteries charged and toys working, or show a “Take Charge or Else” sign like the one in the video (download it here or get creative and make one yourself)
- Upload your video to www.youtube.com and include #recharge in the title
- Click on the ENTER HERE on www.energizer.com/recharge and enter the required information
Pretty easy, right? Check out the videos that have already been uploaded if you need any inspiration. Hurry up though. You only have until May 17th to enter.

They whine until I scrounge up some more.
We usually rumble around the house trying to find another battery, worse case we head to the store and end up buying more batteries. This would help a ton
when the batteries die the kids bring the toys to me to fix them!

Cry, whine, dump out all the kitchen drawers looking for batteries – then demand I go to walmart and buy more! lol
My kids are teenagers now, so they just go to the supply drawer (aka junk drawer) and get new batteries.
When the battery dies, they ask for more batteries!
I could benefit by being able to use recharged batteries. We go through a lot of batteries that we wind up throwing away.
When my daughter’s toys run out of batteries, she tells me to fix it

They expect you to have batteries in stock. Even though the batteries have been dead 5 days and you just came back from the store but they did not tell you until you came back.
