I know we’ve all been there. You anticipate Christmas morning for weeks picturing yourself opening all the different items on your Christmas list. And then on Christmas morning you open that special gift only to realize you didn’t get what you wanted. Can you sympathize with me ladies? Well now JCPenney has launched a site just in time for the holiday shopping season that warns shoppers what NOT to buy as gifts.
BewareOfTheDoghouse.com is a site that allows women to put their significant other in the “Doghouse” for bad gift choices this holiday season. The video focuses on the review board process and trial, highlighting how bad gift-givers can get out of the “Doghouse” once they’ve already gotten themselves in. The site also allows users to build a case against their bad gift-giver filled with written statements and imported photos, videos and witness testimony as evidence of the bad gift-giving.

The worst was pink flamingos from my ex-mother-in-law.
They were these big earrings that were shape like triangles and had a hologram sticker on the front and if you pushed a button, they lit up.
I don’t guess I can put them in the doghouse, but my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law always like to buy me clothes. Once, they took me shopping specifically for a dress. They insisted that I shop where they do, and I felt guilty because they were at least generous enough to fork out the cash for it, so I let them help me pick it out. It was awful. I looked like a 25-year-old in a 65-year-old woman’s outfit. I only wore it once, and only so they’d see me in it!
